BritLitChick’s Bits

Welcome to my blog!  This is a whole new world for me.  Join me on my journey from former Emmy-award winning television news producer to high school English teacher.  As you can probaby tell from my blog, I love literature, especially 19th century British literature.  As an undergraduate at the University of Kansas, I spent a semester abroad in the United Kingdom where my love affair with Britain began.  In fact, I try to cross the pond every few years to get my British “fix!”  In the meantime, you’ll recognize me as the one lost in a good book sipping a hot cup of tea.  I am a voracious reader, a globetrotter, and a writer.  In my spare time I coach competitive figure skaters and rescue abused animals.
